Field Hockey Coach - Junior Varsity

About the role

The Field Hockey Coach - Junior Varsity position at Tallwood High School is part-time and reports to the Principal or SAC. The position begins in the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a coaching plan for junior varsity field hockey players
• Organize practices and games to improve player skills and team performance
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines
• Work closely with the varsity coach to maintain continuity and support the team's overall success

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience at the high school level
• Experience with field hockey preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire athletes
• Knowledge of current coaching techniques and strategies
