Possess and maintain proper Connecticut Certification.

Have a strong background in the sport.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Help each student/athlete achieve a high level of skill.
  • Develop an appreciation for the values of discipline and sportsmanship.
  • Increase the level of self-esteem among students.
  • Welfare and conduct of the members of his/her team from the time they report for practice or a game until they leave the school at the end of the activity.
  • Exemplify the highest ideals of good sportsmanship.
  • Show respect and give support to the contest officials.
  • Never place the value of winning above the value of character building.
