Head Coach, Women's Rugby
Position Specifics
Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics is looking for Head Coach for Women's Rugby (Non-NCAA) to instruct and manage an intercollegiate sports team that is not affiliated with the NCAA. The coach will:
- Plan and direct training of student athletes
- Analyze opposing team performance and determine game strategy
- Mentor students to foster athletic, academic, emotional, and social growth
- Recruit and retain top talent
- Organize team travel
- Oversee promotion and fundraising efforts
- Collaborate with the development office to identify, cultivate, and solicit donor prospects
Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor's degree or higher. World Rugby Level 1 coaching certification required and World Rugby Level 2 coaching certification preferred.

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. Due to the financial and fiduciary responsibilities of this position, successful completion of a credit history check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
