Position Overview
Young Harris College invites applications for the position of Head Coach of Men's Lacrosse. This is a full-time position responsible for the leadership, administration, and development of a competitive NCAA Division II men's lacrosse program. The Head Coach will be committed to the academic success and personal growth of student-athletes while building a program that competes at the highest level of Division II athletics.
Responsibilities
- Provide vision and leadership for all aspects of the men's lacrosse program
- Recruit and retain qualified student-athletes who reflect the values and academic standards of Young Harris College
- Plan and conduct practice sessions, game preparation, and in-game coaching
- Manage program budget, scheduling, and compliance with NCAA and Conference regulations
- Foster a positive, competitive, and student-athlete-centered team culture
- Collaborate with Athletics Department staff, including academic support, strength & conditioning, and sports medicine
- Represent Young Harris College with integrity in all professional and community interactions
