About the role
The successful candidate will lead the men's and women's tennis programs, fostering a culture of excellence in both academics and athletics.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive training plans for players
- Manage team finances and budgeting
- Collaborate with academic advisors to ensure student-athletes maintain eligibility
- Attend NCAA meetings and conferences
- Manage travel arrangements and logistics for tournaments
- Oversee equipment procurement and maintenance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Coaching, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years coaching experience at the collegiate level
- Experience with NCAA rules and regulations
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Qualifications
- Proven success in developing and implementing effective training programs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Passion for tennis and commitment to student-athlete development
Skills
- Strong knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
- Effective time management and organization skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
