Cleveland Housing Authority (CHA) is seeking a Section 8 HCV Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of an HCV program serving 208 vouchers and 15 VASH vouchers.
Responsibilities
- Process applications and determine program eligibility
- Conduct program briefing/orientation for new voucher holders
- Perform all recertification and interim adjustments for current program participants
- Conduct unit inspections
- Manage program lease-up
- Process monthly payments
- Prepare and submit all related HUD reporting
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
- Degree in property management, business administration, or related field required
- Bachelor’s degree with four (4) years of related experience (preferred)
- Experience in property management, particularly in public or assisted housing administration
- Knowledge of Section 8/HCV housing programs, practices, and principles
- Familiarity with public housing laws, agency rules, regulations, and HCV HQS inspection standards
