HCV Case Manager – Bay St. Louis, MS
About the role
The HCV Case Manager position at the Bay Waveland Housing Authority (BWHA) contributes to the day-to-day operations of this important agency. BWHA manages affordable housing in the Bay St. Louis and Waveland community through the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a caseload of Housing Choice Voucher participants
- Ensure maximum program and budget authority utilization
- Perform duties related to HCV admissions, voucher issuance, continued eligibility, and landlord-participant relations
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Management, Public Administration, Social Work, or related field and two (2) years of experience in the administration of a Housing Choice Voucher Program
- High School Diploma/GED and four (4) years of experience in the administration of a Housing Choice Voucher Program
- Valid driver’s license and insurable under the Authority’s plan
Qualifications
- Demonstrate knowledge of the HCV Program
- Show strong written and oral communication skills
