HCM Director

For our client, a leader in the Finance & Insurance space, we are seeking an HCM Director to advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience. This role offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Los Angeles, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

About the Role

You will collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align workforce priorities with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to translate their business requirements into Workday HCM solutions
• Configure and implement Workday HCM modules based on client needs
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and develop customization solutions
• Advise clients on best practices for Workday HCM implementation and system optimization
• Design and build Workday reports and dashboards for client needs
• Support conversion teams in migrating legacy data to Workday
• Assist integration teams with configuration and testing of integrations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 8 years experience as a Workday consultant with a focus on HCM implementations
• Strong functional understanding of payroll processing and regulations
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams for HR integrations
• Workday HCM report writing certification(s) or ability to obtain certifications
• Background in consulting or client-facing roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Workday security and role-based permissions

Pay

$217,500 – $296,300 annually
