HCM Director

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a HCM Director to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will advance people and talent initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and employee experience. You will collaborate with business leaders, HR partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to align workforce priorities with business objectives. The position offers the opportunity to influence culture, talent strategy, and scalable people operations within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to determine their specific business requirements
• Configure and implement diverse Workday HCM modules tailored to client needs
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and develop customized solutions
• Advise clients on Workday HCM best practices and optimizations
• Design reports and dashboards to meet client analytics requirements
• Support data conversion from legacy systems to Workday
• Assist in defining testing strategies and conducting system testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years experience in Workday HCM implementations
• Strong understanding of payroll processing and regulations
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless integrations
• Certifications in Workday HCM and report writing; must maintain relevant certifications
• Proven consulting background in client-facing roles
• Strong analytical skills to solve complex business challenges
