HCBS Direct Support Professional - Habilitation

About Us

Acacia Care LLC, a HCBS provider based in Phoenix, AZ, is expanding its team. We provide high-quality services to individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Direct Service Professional, you will make a difference in someone's life every day. DSPs provide support to the individuals we serve to live as independently as possible.

Respite Provider Duties

• Provide the family/immediate caregivers a break
• Supervise member
• Aid with member care
• Provide activities (walks, games, community outings, etc.)

Habilitation Provider Duties

• Enable individuals to acquire knowledge and skills
• Support member to increase or maintain self-sufficiency
• Train/support member in essential activities required to meet personal and physical needs
• Teach skills to promote health and safety

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 3 months of experience in human services
• Email capability
• Reliable transportation
