Duties
- Guide Patients Through The Financial Options Process
- Facilitate patient with Medicaid Eligibility
- Facilitate patient with Marketplace
- Obtain Charity application, process, and approve/disapprove charity
- Give patient other possible options to take care of patient financial responsibility
Supervisory Duties
- Supervise the Registrars on day, evening shift and weekends, assuring that adequate coverage is maintained.
- Captures the information for Ambulance/Trauma patients.
- Supervises the operations of the Registration Department (Inpatient, Outpatient and Emergency Room Registration).
- Makes sure employees meet their production and quality goals for the Registration process.
- Communicates with the Emergency Room manager in charge, nursing floor managers in charge and Nursing Supervisor in charge to coordinate the efforts of the Registration department.
