Responsibilities

• Guide Patients Through The Financial Options Process
• Facilitate patient with Medicaid Eligibility
• Facilitate patient with Marketplace
• Obtain Charity application, process, and approve/disapprove charity
• Give patient other possible options to take care of patient financial responsibility
• Supervise the Registrars on day, evening shift and weekends, assuring that adequate coverage is maintained.
• Captures and coordinates the collection of information for Ambulance/Trauma patients.
• Supervises the operations of the Registration Department (Inpatient, Outpatient and Emergency Room Registration).
• Maintains oversight of employee production and quality of output of the Registration process.
• Communicates with the Emergency Room manager in charge, nursing floor managers in charge and Nursing Supervisor in charge to coordinate the efforts of the Registration department.
