Project/Program PRJ 0251891 – PBX to VoIP Conversion for OPWDD Voice Consultation Tech

About the role

This individual will perform consultations related to migration from legacy/local voice systems to the shared, centralized VoIP platform known as “UniteNY.”

Responsibilities

• Assess legacy/local voice systems to determine current configurations and requirements.
• Coordinate configuration, installation, and migration to the UniteNY VoIP platform using bulk/batch update files within the VOSS-4-UC product.
• Meet with clients to discuss existing configurations and migration plans.
• Coordinate with vendors to migrate telephone numbers (TNs) from existing services.
• Perform additional tasks to ensure a successful transition to the VoIP platform.

Requirements

• 36–60 months of experience as an IT Specialist, working independently in the field of Information Technology, with expertise in development platforms, technical architectures, or business applications.

Qualifications

• 48 months of experience in Unified Communications/VoIP.
• 48 months of experience in Excel.
• 6 months of experience in VOSS/CUCDM.
• 12 months of experience in software/hardware deployments.
• 6 months of experience in ServiceNow.
• 6 months of experience in legacy telco systems (e.g., POTS, CTX, PRI).
