About the role

Provide support for child welfare applications and initiatives under the CONNECTIONS project/program.

Responsibilities

• Provide CONNECTIONS user support via in-person, email and telephone.
• Provide direct, on-site instruction to individual users and small groups.
• Provide instruction on newly released functionality.
• Deliver presentations to line staff.
• Monitor compliance with data entry requirements.
• Review training materials.
• Provide technical assistance with data warehouse.

Qualifications

Mandatory Qualifications: IT Specialist – works in the field of Information Technology, experienced in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures or business applications and products that run on those platforms – beyond that of a Programmer. Mid‑Level (36‑60 months): candidate is able to work independently, without assistance.

Requested Qualifications:

• 36 months of experience providing IT support in a Child Welfare environment (child protective, foster care/permanency or preventive services).
• 36 months of experience providing implementation support services for new application builds in a child welfare environment.
• 36 months of experience providing on‑site user support for a large scale (15k+ users) distributed child welfare application.
• 36 months of experience working on a large scale (15k+ users) roll‑out, from needs assessment through production rollout to ongoing support.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
