About the role

Hardware Support Technician contract position based in New York, NY, supporting large‑scale move projects and day‑to‑day hardware support in a fast‑paced enterprise environment. The position is anticipated to close on September 30, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Deployments, Moves, Adds, and Changes (DMAC) activities.
  • Execute moves, disconnects and reconnects of hardware.
  • Install docking stations and monitors.
  • Manage cabling and wire organization.
  • Image laptops and deploy PC hardware.
  • Provide hands‑on hardware support for large‑scale move projects and daily operations.
  • Document completed work and communicate project updates to end users via email.
  • Maintain documentation, update asset records, track open requests, provide status updates, and log timesheets in Excel and Fieldglass.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Technology Move, Add, and Change (MAC) coordination and/or fulfillment experience, preferably in a financial services or enterprise environment.
  • Client‑facing experience with strong customer service skills; ability to respond to email and telephone inquiries.
  • Experience coordinating systems access, vendor engagement for telephony and data services, and managing installations through multiple request‑management tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and adapting to changing business needs.
  • Familiarity with Windows 11, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft 365 (O365).
  • Business casual dress code; fully onsite work in New York, NY.

  • A+ certification is a plus.
  • Strong customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player, detail‑oriented, organized, and quick learner.
  • Intermediate experience level.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $27.00 – $30.00 per hour.
