Hardware Engineer Lead

About the role

Join us as a Hardware Engineer Lead at Lockheed Martin. This role is responsible for leading the design, development, and testing of hardware systems for various aerospace and defense projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams in the design and development of complex hardware systems
• Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance on hardware engineering best practices
• Collaborate with software engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure hardware meets system requirements
• Manage hardware development projects from concept through production
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in hardware engineering
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams
• Strong understanding of electronic and mechanical systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Engineering preferred
• Experience with hardware design tools such as Cadence, Altium, or similar
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management
• Experience with project management methodologies

Pay

Salary range: $120,000 - $150,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed
