HARBOUR WORKER

About the role

We are expanding our team at Herring House Trust in Great Yarmouth. Herring House Trust is a local charity providing accommodation and support for people experiencing homelessness.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and understand trauma-informed support in practice.
• Get to know residents, understand what matters to them, and work alongside them.
• Provide day-to-day support within The Harbour, our four-bed supported accommodation service for people moving away from rough sleeping.

Requirements

Learning and reflective practice are part of how we work, giving staff space to share ideas and think about their work together. We also value life outside work and have designed these roles with working patterns that give people proper time away.

£25,000 per annum

Schedule

Average 34 hours per week. One 12-hour day shift, one 12-hour night shift, then three days off, on a rolling shift pattern.
