Your Responsibilities
- Completing Maintenance & Repairs: Small to medium projects ranging from 2 hours to 2 days
- Making Recommendations and Managing Expectations: Communicate with customers, explain work scope and costs
- Create Life-Long Customers: Deliver a great experience to ensure repeat business
- Self-manage tasks
- Collect payment from customers
- Document jobs following the Mr. Handyman Way
- Wear proper PPE and booties
Job Requirements
- Live within the area
- Have 8+ years’ experience as a paid handyman
- Own your own tools
- Be insurable for driving our vehicle
- Complete a background and driving record check
- Able to lift 50 pounds independently
- Able to work at heights and overhead for extended periods
- Professional appearance and maintain company-provided vehicle
- Strong proficiency in at least three of the following: Carpentry work, Bathroom improvements, Kitchen improvements, Painting, Drywall work, General plumbing and electrical, Floor installation and refurbishing, Familiar with building codes
