Responsibilities

• Complete small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects lasting two hours to two days
• Communicate with customers to recommend needed work, explain scope, and manage cost expectations
• Deliver a great experience that drives repeat business and follow the Mr. Handyman Way process

How We’ll Measure Performance

• Customer Satisfaction (NPS): high response and satisfaction rates on post-job surveys
• Revenue Target: identify and deliver additional services to customers
• Effective Billing Rate: invoice accurately, source materials, and collect payment
• Recall Percentage: ensure work is done correctly the first time to meet the one-year guarantee

Requirements

• Live within the local area
• 5+ years of paid handyman experience
• Own your own tools
• Be insurable for driving the company vehicle
• Pass background and driving record checks
• Ability to lift 50 lbs independently
• Ability to work at heights and overhead for extended periods
• Maintain professional appearance and company-provided vehicle

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in at least three of the following:

• Carpentry work
• Bathroom improvements
• Kitchen improvements
• Interior and exterior painting
• Minor and major drywall repairs
• General plumbing and electrical (where allowed by law)
• Floor installation and refurbishing
• Familiarity with building codes
