Handyman
Responsibilities
- Install office partitions and furniture
- Install a variety of flooring materials
- Repair furniture
- Patch and paint walls
- Perform minor plumbing repairs
- Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment
- Install bulletin boards and writing boards
- Replace damaged, stained, or missing ceiling tiles
- Replace damaged VCT floor tile
- Refasten existing or replace damaged cover base
- Analyze/assess problems quickly and accurately
- Act independently and with little supervision
- Learn new tasks and systems
- To receive and give constructive feedback
- To manage time well, accomplishing tasks on schedule
- To use common hand tools
- To use power tools
- Operate van, scissors lifts, basket trucks, and others as required
Requirements
- 2-5 years previous experience as a handyman or related position
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Good interpersonal communications skills and ability to work with other people
- Requires attention to detail
