About the role

This position is located in Eastover, South Carolina. There is one position available which will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidates' education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Issuing and receiving materials for the plant via the computer system.
• Managing inventory.
• Purchasing and acquiring materials within prescribed limits.
• Handling safety equipment.
• Providing assistance to corporate accounting, supply chain management, material management and all other storerooms throughout the company.

Requirements

• Strong computer skills with solid knowledge of Microsoft applications and keyboard proficiency with a minimum of 20 WPM.
• Previous storeroom, warehouse, materials management or plant operations experience is preferred.
• Heavy lifting (minimum 50 lbs.), standing for long periods of time, and the ability to climb stairs to the top of tall structures.
• Mechanically and electrically inclined and have good communications and human relations skills.
• Prior Forklift Experience Is Preferred.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
• The successful candidate must be available for scheduled and unscheduled overtime and must respond to call outs in support of plant Operations and Maintenance.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or equivalent (i.e., GED) is required.

Skills

Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving history; with ability to obtain a CDL with Hazmat classification.
