This position is available to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. Military service members and veterans with ranks from E3-E5, W1-W2, or O1-O3, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

About the role

This position is located in Cayce, SC and is responsible for performing storeroom duties such as: receiving and issuing materials; conducting physical inventories; performing data entry functions; and assisting in the general maintenance of the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Receive and issue materials
• Conduct physical inventories
• Perform data entry functions
• Assist in the general maintenance of the warehouse
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Perform strenuous physical tasks including heavy lifting up to 75 lbs., bending, stooping, reaching, climbing ladders, and substantial walking and standing
• Be available to work after hours, scheduled overtime, and callout for department emergencies as required

Requirements

• 0 to 2 years of related experience (a partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications)
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving history
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-Class A) or the ability to obtain one within six (6) months of hire
• Completion of high school or equivalent (i.e., GED)
• Basic computer entry knowledge and skills
• Basic mathematical skills
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
• Positive attitude

Pay

$27.70 per hour
