Hand Therapist

About the role

We're looking for a skilled and caring Hand Therapist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you'll evaluate, create, and deliver personalized treatment plans for patients recovering from hand injuries, surgeries, or conditions affecting upper extremity function.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' hand and upper extremity function
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans
• Work closely with medical professionals to coordinate care
• Provide patient education on injury prevention and rehabilitation techniques
• Document progress and communicate with patients and healthcare providers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
• Current license to practice as a Hand Therapist in your state
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in hand therapy
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of hand anatomy and physiology
• Experience with various treatment modalities including manual therapy, splinting, and therapeutic exercises
• Proficiency in using medical software for documentation and record-keeping
