Hand Therapist
About the role
Regions Outpatient Rehab has an opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with experience in Hand Therapy to join our HealthPartners Specialty Center 401 Building. In this position, you will work with an experienced team and have the opportunity to partner closely with our Hand and Plastics and Orthopedics Team. This position provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions. This position uses a variety of hand therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain. Performs related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Work with an experienced team to provide direct patient care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, with pediatric care required for some specialty positions.
- Use a variety of hand therapy techniques to restore individuals to maximum functional ability, independence, participation, and freedom from pain.
- Partner closely with the Hand and Plastics and Orthopedics Team.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Licensure with the Minnesota State Department of Health as an Occupational Therapist; certification with the National Board of Certification of Occupational Therapy within 4 months of hire.
- CPR Certification (Basic Life Support).
Qualifications
- Experience in similar settings/diagnoses.
- Advanced certification and/or licensure to support position.
- Trauma experience.
- Passion with hand and upper extremity while working towards your certification in Hand Therapy.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using medical software and equipment.

Pay
Commensurate with experience.
