About the role
The Physical Therapist Aide serves as the liaison between the patient and the Physical Therapist, assisting patients from arrival to departure to ensure a positive experience.
Responsibilities
- Call patients into treatment from the waiting room
- Maintain a clean facility throughout the day
- Wash and dry laundry to ensure clean towels are available
- Work as a team member to ensure patients receive a positive experience
- Maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times
- Keep a safe and orderly work environment
- Answer phone calls and schedule patients as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to fluid situations
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work as a team member and individually with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times
