Physical Therapist Aide

About the role

The Physical Therapist Aide serves as the liaison between the patient and the Physical Therapist. This role includes assisting the patient from time of arrival to their departure to ensure a positive experience.

Responsibilities

• Call patients into the treatment area from the waiting room
• Maintain a clean facility throughout the day
• Wash and dry laundry, ensuring towels are clean and available
• Work as a team member to ensure patients receive a positive experience
• Maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times
• Keep a safe and orderly work environment
• Answer phone calls and schedule patients as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to fluid situations
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to work as a team member and individually with minimal supervision
• Maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times
