Responsibilities
- Help drive store-level financial and operational results by monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and taking action to achieve store goals
- Keep the team focused on guest engagement, storytelling, sampling, and sharing product knowledge rooted in Hammond’s history and craftsmanship
- Maximize overall team performance through coaching, selling skills development, and leading by example
- Aid in training, developing, and motivating team members
- Serve as a brand ambassador for Hammond’s Candies inside and outside of the Factory Store
Requirements
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with people
- A passion for quality, organization, and attention to detail
- A bias toward action and a willingness to roll up your sleeves
- Ability to lift and move medium to large items (up to 75 lbs using proper safety techniques)
- A desire to learn, grow, and be coached
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Able to multitask and prioritize throughout the day
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm for creating great guest experiences
- Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and peak business times
