Half-time High School Interventionist (Ed Tech III)

About the role

The half-time interventionist acts as a coach to students who are academically behind, need more time and support, or are identified as being at high risk due to grades and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support to students in their caseload
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop and implement student supports
• Help students with credit recovery and/or improve grades
• Conduct classroom instruction and re-teaching sessions
• Aid students and families with attendance issues
• Act as a student mentor
• Serve on the district dropout prevention committee
• Participate on the school's RTI (Response to Intervention) Team
• Oversee tutorials and learning labs

Qualifications

• Maine Ed Tech III certification and teaching experience preferred
