About the role
The Interventionist at Arizona Virtual Academy (AZVA) supports the academic growth of "At-Risk" students through individualized and small group sessions, collaborating with general education teachers and providing data-driven support.
Responsibilities
- Modifies and adapts K12 curriculum to meet unique student needs
- Collaborates with general education teachers to achieve targeted student goals
- Educates parents on various instructional strategies
- Enforces RTI instructional system to enhance student achievement
- Monitors and tracks student progress at every tier
- Supports teachers in documenting student progress
- Facilitates eligibility for special education services
- Provides ongoing training and support to school/district staff
- Travels up to 20% of the time for professional development, student testing, and other requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Active state teaching license
- Clear background check
- Ability to work independently and maintain a professional home office
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Adaptable to new technologies and teaching platforms
- Maintain teacher certification and professional development hours
Qualifications
- Experience working with the proposed age group
- Experience supporting adults and children in the use of technology
- Experience teaching in an online (virtual) and/or in a brick-and-mortar environment
- Experience with online learning platforms

Benefits
Stride, Inc. offers a competitive benefits package including health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off. Salary range is $43,877.00 - $54,846.00, with the possibility of bonuses. Employees are considered "at-will" and are subject to the company's policies and procedures.
