About the role

The Middle School Interventionist Teacher is responsible for providing academic support to students in grades 6-8 who are struggling academically. This position requires a strong commitment to student success and a willingness to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other school staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized academic support to students identified for intervention
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop and implement differentiated instruction plans
  • Assess student progress regularly and adjust interventions as needed
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
  • Work closely with families to communicate student progress and needs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
  • Valid teaching license in Kentucky
  • Experience working with middle school students
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
