About the Role
The General Store Stocker/Maintenance supports daily store operations by ensuring merchandise is stocked, facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the property presents a safe and welcoming environment for guests and team members. This position performs a variety of duties including stocking merchandise, janitorial services, restroom sanitation, grounds keeping, and general maintenance tasks both inside and outside the facility.
Responsibilities

- Meet IMGR&C Appearance standards and professionally support the company’s reputation.

- Report all guest complaints, compliments, and situations where resort grounds or equipment do not meet standards.

- Assist with product displays and promotional setups.
- Remove damaged, expired, or discontinued merchandise from shelves.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage rooms, coolers, and receiving areas.
- Assist with receiving and verifying deliveries.
- Perform minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs and report equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Clean and sanitize store floors, counters, windows, doors, and other high-touch surfaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove trash throughout the facility.
- Ensure restrooms remain clean, safe, and presentable for guests.
- Assist with preventive maintenance activities as assigned.
- Mow lawns, trim weeds, and maintain landscaping and outdoor appearance.
- Sweep sidewalks and entryways, and remove debris from parking lots and surrounding grounds.
- Comply with all company safety, sanitation, and environmental standards.
- Immediately report hazardous conditions, accidents, and security concerns.
- Ensure cleaning chemicals are properly stored and handled.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous stocking, janitorial, maintenance, or custodial experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Bend, stoop, kneel, climb ladders, and reach overhead.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Safely operate basic maintenance and grounds keeping equipment.
Work Environment
The work environment is loud and may expose the team member to:
- Second-hand smoke.
- Biohazardous fluids such as blood and other body fluids.
- Hostile environments with guests.
- High-stress situations.
