Responsibilities
- Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems
- Removal and installation of panels and components
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve aircraft system/component issues
- De-fueling aircraft
- Engine removal/installations
- Operate ground support equipment
- Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components
- Aircraft movement and assistance in performance runs/taxiing
- Maintain and repair shop facility, equipment, and tooling
- Use basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases
- Communicate effectively (speak, write, read) in English
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport (ideal but not mandatory)
- Airframe or Powerplant license (specific requirements vary by level)
- Reliable transportation to get to work each day
- Ability to work under supervision, meet deadlines, and perform in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work overtime and weekend assignments
- Adhere to Federal Aviation Administration guidelines and company safety rules
- Maintain customer-oriented work habits
Qualifications
AMT I: Airframe or Powerplant license required (Airframe preferred). 0-2 years of experience in aviation maintenance, avionics, or similar. Limited to moderate knowledge of general maintenance aspects; requires close supervision.
AMT II: Airframe or Powerplant license required (Airframe preferred). 2-4 years of experience in aviation maintenance; experience on corporate aircraft preferred but not essential. Considerable knowledge of general maintenance; requires general supervision for routine tasks and detailed instruction for new assignments.
AMT III: Airframe license required; Powerplant license highly preferred. 4-6+ years of experience in aviation maintenance; experience on corporate aircraft highly preferred. Full knowledge of general, detailed, and special assignments in aircraft maintenance.
AMT IV (Master): Airframe and Powerplant license required. 6+ years of experience in aviation maintenance with extensive experience on corporate aircraft platforms. Subject matter expert in all areas of the job.

Equipment Used
- Personal hand tools (supplied by the mechanic)
- Pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment
- Jacks, stands, lifts, and other support devices
- Tugs, power carts, and other engine-powered equipment
Supervision
Work under the supervision of an assigned Team Leader and Director of Maintenance. May be directed to supervise other technicians in some capacity.
Pay
The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $30-$46. Actual hourly rate varies based on factors including location, experience, and performance. Additional compensation includes a shift differential for alternate shifts, a semi-annual discretionary bonus, 401(k) company match, and employer contributions to a Health Savings Account (HSA).
