Guitar Technician (Luthier)

About the Role

The Repair Tech (Guitar) performs maintenance and repairs on customer-owned instruments, primarily guitars, and assists with store inventory maintenance. The position emphasizes providing exceptional customer service through knowledgeable and genuine interaction.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction
• Service and repair customer instruments with craftsmanship
• Maintain store-owned gear
• Complete warranty repairs
• Support additional store tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Skilled understanding of guitar repairs
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills
• Proactive, able to identify opportunities and resolve issues
• Ability to learn product knowledge and sales techniques through certification programs
• Effective trainer of others
