About the role

  • Providing essential care to clients with brain injuries, strokes, and TBI.
  • Supporting all aspects of home and community life for clients.
  • Ensuring consistent safety for clients.
  • Providing a healthy and professional friendship for clients.
  • Helping clients maintain personal hygiene and dressing routines.
  • Scheduling, attending, and reporting on medical and therapeutic appointments.
  • Assisting clients with shopping, cooking, and cleaning.
  • Organizing consistent exercise, socialization, and entertainment for clients.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent education.
  • One year of experience working with disabilities (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Letter from a person and/or employer verifying experience.
