Responsibilities

  • Implement and support Guidewire PolicyCenter.
  • Provide technical leadership to junior Guidewire associates regarding Guidewire development and support.
  • Develop configuration and integration features as per requirements.
  • Work onsite/offshore to understand client business needs, assess technical feasibility, and communicate requirements to offshore teams to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Dedicate 40-60% of time to hands-on development work for releases.
  • Coordinate onsite/offshore efforts to resolve production incidents.
  • Review offshore development work in areas of Rating, PCF Configuration, Business Rules, and Data Model Creation.
  • Manage and communicate team status to onsite management.
  • Provide technical support for Guidewire PolicyCenter in production.
  • Coordinate with the team to analyze defects.
  • Collaborate with other service providers and integration owners to ensure applications remain operational.

Requirements

  • Certified Guidewire PolicyCenter professional with experience in implementation and state rollouts.
  • Experience with configuration for state-specific forms, rating, business rules, UW issues, PCF changes, and integrations.
  • Experience working with SQL Server or Oracle databases.
  • Experience with 3rd-party platform application integration.
  • Familiarity with application servers such as WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, or JBOSS J2EE application containers.

Qualifications

  • Certified Guidewire PolicyCenter professional (Associate or ACE).
  • 5-8 years of hands-on work experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter modules.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Guidewire Configuration and/or Integration.
  • One complete end-to-end implementation experience for Guidewire Cloud.
  • Development experience with Guidewire GOSU proprietary code.
  • Development experience with Guidewire APIs, methods, rules, and processes.

Individual pay is determined by work location, job level, and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Depending on the position, other forms of compensation may include an annual performance-based bonus, sales incentive pay, and other forms of bonus or variable compensation.
