Guidewire Technical Lead - PolicyCenter Developer

About the Role

Guidewire Technical Lead PolicyCenter Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations and customizations within the Guidewire ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter integrations with external systems including rating engines, payment gateways, document services, and core platforms.
• Implement and configure SOAP/REST APIs, Messaging infrastructure (Kafka, JMS), and integration plugins.
• Lead the architecture and design of new integration flows, including data mapping and error handling strategies.
• Develop custom plugins for pre/post submission logic, policy lifecycle events, and claim/policy sync.
• Guide and mentor development teams on integration best practices and performance tuning.
• Support end-to-end testing, debugging, and issue resolution across environments.
• Collaborate with BAs, QA, CloudOps, and DevOps teams to ensure successful deployments and monitoring.

Requirements

• ACE Certification or Associate Certification (Mandatory).
• Proficiency in GOSU, Java, JavaScript, and SQL for developing and configuring Guidewire applications.
• Deep understanding of Guidewire's architecture, components, and APIs for customizing and integrating solutions.
• Familiarity with insurance concepts, processes, and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting and maintaining Guidewire products.
• Valid visa with a minimum of 12 months validity (visa-dependent candidates may be considered).
• Must be available for 5 days onsite per week as per customer expectations.
• 6-month contract-to-hire arrangement.
