About the Role

This position involves hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter, acting as a liaison between business users and technical teams to gather, analyze, and validate requirements. The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to interface effectively with business management.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements from formal and informal sessions, validating the needs of business stakeholders.
  • Draft Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and assist in defining Technical Design Documents (TDD) and System Specification Documents (SSD).
  • Develop detailed requirements for out-of-the-box (OOTB) Guidewire ClaimCenter functions and customizations, documenting workflows and processes.
  • Actively participate in SCRUM meetings, ensuring Agile project techniques are applied to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters, Business Owners, Project Sponsors, SMEs, and Guidewire Consultants to define and manage the Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, and effort estimates for user stories.
  • Work with business teams and developers to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter requirement gathering.
  • Proven ability to create clear, concise deliverables reflecting a deep understanding of business needs and Guidewire ClaimCenter’s OOTB functionality.
  • Strong initiative, self-management, and comfort working through ambiguity to achieve results.

Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements.
  • Proficiency with Guidewire ClaimCenter, including OOTB functions and customizations.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Rally).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills (written and verbal).

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Minimum one end-to-end implementation experience of Guidewire ClaimCenter.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and business analysis best practices.
  • Understands communication channels and escalates appropriately.
  • AINS 21/22/23/24 Certification.

Technical Skills

  • Guidewire ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and interfaces.
  • SVN, Rally, HPQC, Jira, Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint.

Pay

The salary range for this position across all US locations is a minimum and maximum target. Individual pay is determined by work location, job level, skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Additional compensation may include annual performance-based bonuses, sales incentive pay, or other forms of variable compensation.
