Responsibilities

  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter requirement gathering.
  • Act as liaison between business users and technical groups, using superior communication skills to elicit, document, analyze, and validate requirements.
  • Create clear, concise deliverables reflecting a deep understanding of business needs and the out-of-the-box functionality of Guidewire ClaimCenter.
  • Proven track record of self-management and comfort with ambiguity, able to work through it to get the right things done.
  • Technical Skills: Guidewire ClaimCenter, SVN, Rally, HP-QC, Jira, Microsoft - Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Guidewire PolicyCenter/ BillingCenter/ ClaimCenter interfaces, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Must have gathered, analyzed, documented business and technical requirements from both formal and informal sessions and validated the needs of business stakeholders, drafting Business Requirement Document (BRD), Technical Design Document (TDD), and System Specification Document (SSD).
  • Utilized the guidelines and artifacts of Guidewire to develop a detailed requirement of out-of-the-box functions and customizations.
  • Documented workflow and processes for Guidewire ClaimCenter.
  • Participated actively in SCRUM meetings and ensured the use of Agile project techniques to accomplish tasks based on deadlines.
  • Worked with SCRUM Master, Business Owners, Project Sponsor, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and Guidewire Consultants to define Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, and estimate efforts for user stories.
  • Collaborated with the business and developers for requirement clarifications.
  • Good to have: Minimum one end-to-end (e2e) implementation experience of Guidewire ClaimCenter, experience with Agile Scrum methodology and business analysis methodologies, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and understanding of communication channels with appropriate escalation.
