Guestroom Attendant

About the role

The Guestroom Attendant is responsible for cleaning guest rooms to exacting standards. Duties include removing dirty towels and sheets, making beds, vacuuming, sanitizing areas, restocking amenities, and assisting with other housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities

• Has a set number of rooms to clean during a shift.
• Removes dirty towels and sheets and replaces them with clean ones from the Linen Closet.
• Cleans, dusts, and sanitizes all areas of the Guest Room (bedroom, living room, dining room and bathroom) according to procedure.
• Makes bed.
• Vacuums carpet and cleans marble and tile areas.
• Removes Rooms service trays, dishes and carts to service landings.
• Restocks used amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery and pens.
• Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
• Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of Lobby Attendant and House Attendant.

Requirements

Basic requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

• Good interpersonal skills for interacting with guests and colleagues.

Pay

$22.22 per hour

Schedule

Shifts vary based on hotel needs, typically including early morning, late night, and weekend hours.
