Guest Services Specialist - Full-Time - 10:30am - 6pm
About the role
As a full-time Guest Services Specialist, you will work Monday - Friday, 11:30am-8pm. This position qualifies for our full benefits package, including rewarding discretionary quarterly bonuses.
The Guest Services Specialist holds a safety sensitive position and is responsible for:
- Transporting patients, guests, and visitors to the appropriate department within the facility
- Transporting patients from the recovery area to their designated inpatient room
- Parking visitors’ vehicles
- Staffing registration desks
- Receiving all patients, guests, and visitors in a friendly and respectful manner
- Providing assistance in the form of information about hospital services
- Facilitating consultation between physicians and patient families
- Providing direction and answering general information inquiries
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record (drivers under 21 require insurance carrier approval)
- Current BLS certification or must be acquired within 30 days of hire date through the hospital
Skills
- Good interpersonal/customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of a medical setting
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office products and data entry
- Sound judgement and quick decision-making when presented with patients with needs
