Job Summary

Guest Services Representatives are an integral part of the Recreation Division with the City of Greeley and are responsible for providing quality customer service to patrons of the Greeley Recreation Facilities. This position assists with daily facility operations. The position will work at Centennial Pool and Discovery Bay.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills
Minimum Requirements: Current certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire required. Preferred Experience and knowledge of computer operations and use of software packages including Microsoft Office applications. Spanish/English bilingual skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collects and handles cash.
  • Greets all patrons in a timely manner and inquire where and what they are doing in the facility to ensure safety.
  • Answers and transfers a high volume of telephone calls.
  • Provides quality customer service through the development of relationships with participants, community members, and various organizations.
  • Participates in regular team meetings to ensure consistency is maintained throughout recreation facilities.
  • Learns and uses recreation management software, RecTrac, for entry desk operations including membership sales, program registration, facility rentals, and point of sale services.
  • Affords assistance in the enforcement of risk management and emergency response training.

  • Computer skills, including the ability to utilize Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and learn and experiment with new software and systems.
  • Interpersonal skills, including the ability to facilitate interaction, communication, and teamwork between others.
  • Oral, written, and listening communication skills, including the ability to accurately interpret what others are saying and convey messages, information, concepts, and details accurately and clearly.

Pay

Anticipated Hiring Ranges: $15.16 - $18.46 Hourly

Schedule

Frequent interruptions and heavy public contact. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekdays, nights, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
