GUEST SERVICES LEAD

About the role

Transform Healthcare by working within Ambulatory Sites such as Tanglewood, CSMOB, Riverside 1, Riverside 3, and Parkview. Assist in managing Guest Services desks to ensure quality service, coordinate staffing, conduct tours, and participate in staff meetings.

Responsibilities

• Assists Manager in daily operations of Guest Services desks
• Coordinates Guest Services scheduling for appropriate staffing levels
• Oversees day-to-day activities/operations of Guest Services desks and lobby areas
• Aids in employee interviews and new hire orientation/training
• Conducts facility tours for community members and OB patients
• Works with manager on customer service practice and process improvement
• Enforces established hospital and department policies and procedures
• Updates department policies and procedures in a timely manner
• Serves as staff/volunteer mentor on customer service aspects and process improvement
• Maintains positive relationships with volunteers serving in support roles
• Ensures appropriate staffing coverage for Guest Services desks and assisted parking locations
• Interviews, selects, and trains new staff
• Provides fill-in coverage for Guest Services and parking staff
• Keeps staging areas clear and maintains smooth traffic flow
• Communicates in a timely and appropriate manner
• Performs Kronos time-keeping entries each pay period
• Provides input during the new hire interview process and weighs in on staff performance evaluations
• Serves as staff/volunteer mentor on customer service aspects and process improvement
• Maintains positive relationships with volunteers who serve in department support roles
• Communicates in a timely and appropriate manner

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Associates Degree in business or related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years of related experience required; demonstrated customer service skills and knowledge desired
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills required
• Ability to handle numerous projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Computer skills sufficient to meet key objectives of the position

$16.18 - $22.65 per hour
