About the role
Guest Services Staff act as the primary provider of direct services to guests at our venues. They ensure a safe and welcoming environment from the moment guests arrive, delivering expert, professional, and friendly customer service.
Responsibilities
- Answer guest questions, direct guests to key venue areas (restrooms, ATMs, coat checks, VIP areas, concert areas), and provide additional assistance as needed.
- Operate coat check rooms following established guidelines and procedures.
- Scan tickets for venue entry and administer applicable wristbands (21+, VIP Access, Private Event Access).
- Greet guests, resolve complaints, and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Monitor guest conduct to maintain a safe and secure environment for all.
- Oversee alcohol consumption to prevent underage drinking and ensure responsible behavior.
- Assist with seating and support ADA patrons.
- Enforce all venue policies and procedures.
- Complete required company and venue trainings and participate in employee meetings.
- Serve as part of the emergency evacuation team, communicating with and directing guests during emergencies.
- Monitor venue compliance with fire department safety regulations during guest arrival and exit.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management and Supervisors.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0-2 years of related work experience; previous experience in events or knowledge of the music industry preferred.
- Ability to work in varying conditions and lift 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Positive attitude with superior customer service skills.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the venue schedule.
- Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for long periods.
Pay
$14 - $16 per hour.
