Guest Relations Associate

Provides exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors by managing check-in and health screening processes at Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO) facilities. Ensures all visitors are pre-approved, properly badged, and directed to the correct location.

Responsibilities

• Conducts mandatory health screenings for all visitors and records results in the Visitor Management System before allowing entry.
• Verifies visitor status and issues badges using the Visitor Management System.
• Serves as a welcoming representative of CHCO, delivering high-quality customer service to patients, families, visitors, and team members with professionalism and courtesy.
• Enforces hospital visitor policies; confirms authorized visitors in Epic and initiates the patient registration process when applicable.
• De-escalates challenging situations involving patients, families, or visitors and maintains a safe environment by following infection control protocols and keeping assigned areas clean.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• One year of administrative/clerical experience in a customer service environment.
• Equivalency: A relevant Associates or Bachelors degree may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Schedule

Monday - Thursday, 11:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Weekends and holidays may be required.

Pay

Hourly range: $18.26 to $27.40, dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
