About the role
The Guest Relations Associate provides exceptional customer service to patients, families, and visitors by managing check-in and health screening processes at Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO) facilities. This role ensures all visitors are pre-approved, properly badged, and directed to the correct location.
Responsibilities
- Conducts mandatory health screenings for all visitors and records results in the Visitor Management System before allowing entry.
- Verifies visitor status and issues badges using the Visitor Management System.
- Serves as a welcoming representative of CHCO, delivering high-quality customer service to patients, families, visitors, and team members with professionalism and courtesy.
- Enforces hospital visitor policies; confirms authorized visitors in Epic and initiates the patient registration process when applicable.
- De-escalates challenging situations involving patients, families, or visitors and maintains a safe environment by following infection control protocols and keeping assigned areas clean.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one year of administrative/clerical experience in a customer service environment.
- A relevant Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Pay
Hourly range: $18.26 to $27.40, dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
