Guest Experience Specialist (Full Time and Part Time Opportunities)

About the role

The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum is seeking Guest Experience Specialists to join the Guest Experience Department. This role is available full-time or part-time, non-exempt.

Responsibilities

• Sell the museum, membership, Historic RCA Studio B, and Hatch Show Print tours to visitors
• Answer questions and assist museum visitors during their visit
• Provide information about Nashville as a tourist destination
• Operate Tessitura ticketing and reservation system for walk-up sales, voucher redemptions, and check-ins
• Process refunds and adhere to cash-handling protocols
• Work after-hours special events as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to work flexible schedules with short notice
• Experience in frontline customer service positions

Qualifications

• Customer service skills are crucial
• Communications, public speaking, and organizational skills are necessary
• An open, friendly attitude and pro-active sales skills are essential
• Prior customer service and cash-handling experience is required
• Versatility is key, as the ideal candidate must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
• Knowledge of the Nashville area and its music history is a plus
• Fluency in a second language is a plus
• Must be able to stand for long periods and work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some evenings
