About the role

The Guest Experience Associate will welcome and host the World of Coca-Cola Attraction and night time event business to life through extraordinary service and attention to each guest by sharing key messages about The Coca-Cola Company, its products and history.

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage with all guests and anticipate their needs.
  • Share knowledge of and tell the history and stories about our Brand and The Company.
  • Create and maintain a hassle-free, safe operation as well as flawless show quality, operating effectiveness, exhibits and experiences.
  • Sell tickets, provide access control, check-in groups, pulse guest traffic, restock/replenish stations, deliver supplies, make public announcements, assist guests with special access, and assist guests with wayfinding.
  • Operate ticketing system, reconcile cash transactions, meet sales goals, handle sensitive information, evacuate guests in emergencies, assist those needing special assistance, adhere to Company policies, maintain specified appearance standards, maintain a positive attitude and welcoming demeanor, monitor guests and surrounding areas for potential safety concerns, adhere to World of Coca-Cola safety procedures, work quickly as a team to help maintain the cleanliness of exhibits, galleries and theaters, interact with guests with differing abilities in a respectful and appropriate manner, enforce inclusion training, handle guest situations in a professional, quick, thorough, and respectful manner, complete required training, handle cash and credit transactions successfully in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work quickly as a team to help maintain the cleanliness of exhibits, galleries and theaters.
  • Interact with guests with differing abilities in a respectful and appropriate manner, enforcing inclusion training provided by The Coca-Cola Company and World of Coca-Cola.
  • Handle guest situations in a professional, quick, thorough, and respectful manner.
  • Complete all required training as assigned regarding Life Safety, Evacuation, PCI Compliance, and ADA.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year experience in the themed attraction industry, hospitality industry, or customer service.
  • Strong verbal and presentation skills, multi-lingual skills a plus.
  • Proven ability to adapt to change, work effectively under pressure, and produce accurate results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals, and ability to perform these operations using American units of Money.
  • Proven ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in a standardized method.

Qualifications

  • Ability to climb/navigate multiple levels of the building via stairs or elevator.
  • Continuous exposure to outside temperatures including extreme heat or cold.
  • Ability to reach over head to lift objects up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to navigate through dark and work in enclosed spaces.
  • Ability to work in noisy, crowded and tight spaces.

Skills

  • Strong verbal and presentation skills.
  • Multi-lingual skills (a plus).

Pay

Hourly Pay Rate: Starting at $15/hr

Schedule

Average Hours: 28 hours/week

This is a part time role working 28 hours a week. Candidates must have open availability to work 4 days on weekends, weekdays and holidays with shifts will vary between the hours of 8:30 am and 9:00 pm based on the business needs (could be as late as midnight when we host corporate events).
