Description
Create and teach up to 10 minutes of original concert choreography appropriate to student skill levels and program goals.
Model professional rehearsal etiquette, time management, and collaboration.
Provide technical and artistic feedback to students to support skill development and performance quality.
Audit choreography as needed based on student abilities, spacing, and rehearsal constraints.
Incorporate industry practices such as warm-ups, creative process discussion, and rehearsal protocols.
Support students in understanding the choreographic process and career pathways in dance.
Communicate progress, scheduling needs, and artistic goals with the supervising dance educator.
Maintain intellectual property rights for original choreography, while granting the school permission to rehearse and perform the work for educational and concert purposes, as agreed upon in advance.
Observe and follow all school policies, schedules, and student safety procedures.
