GTM Engineer

About the role

We're partnered with a rapidly growing, venture-backed fintech that is reimagining how individuals build long-term wealth through employer-sponsored financial benefits. The company has developed a category-defining platform at the intersection of retirement, investing, and financial wellness, and is entering a significant growth phase following strong market adoption and recent fundraising.

As they scale, they're looking for a GTM Engineer to own the systems, tooling, workflows, and automations that power outbound growth. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves building. You'll have direct ownership over the outbound engine and play a key role in how the company generates pipeline, acquires customers, and scales revenue.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize the outbound technology stack across prospecting, sequencing, enrichment, and engagement tools
• Build lead sourcing, segmentation, enrichment, and routing workflows
• Launch and optimize outbound campaigns and personalized cold outreach sequences
• Develop signal-based prospecting motions using buying signals, hiring trends, website activity, job changes, and intent data
• Automate manual workflows using APIs, webhooks, and scripting
• Track and improve key outbound metrics including reply rates, meetings booked, conversion rates, and pipeline generated
• Partner closely with SDRs, AEs, and GTM leadership to improve efficiency and execution
• Create scalable processes, documentation, and playbooks as the team grows

Requirements

• 2-5+ years of experience in GTM Engineering, Growth Engineering, Growth Operations, or a similar role
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Clay, Apollo, Smartlead, Instantly, Outreach, Salesloft, Nooks, HeyReach, or similar
• Experience building outbound prospecting and enrichment workflows
• Strong understanding of cold outbound, sequencing, deliverability, and pipeline generation
• Experience working with APIs, webhooks, and automation tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make, or Workato
• Comfortable working with SQL, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience supporting SDR/BDR teams through better tooling, data, and workflows

Ideal Background

We're particularly interested in candidates who have built outbound infrastructure at high-growth SaaS, fintech, AI, or GTM technology companies. Strong consideration will be given to individuals coming from GTM Engineer, Growth Engineer, Growth Operations, or Founding GTM roles where they owned pipeline-generating systems rather than traditional RevOps or reporting functions.
