About the role
The role holder will be a part of Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) team, which is a central sourcing team for WW Amazon Talent Acquisition (ATA) team. We scout bar raising talent spanning across Americas (NA, LATAM), Europe, AMET and India, to enable and scale cost-efficient sourcing solutions in Tech, Non-Tech and High volume space.

Core Responsibilities
- Recruit passive candidates with the mentality to "profile people and gauge chemistry of candidates for fit and understand their motivation"
- Build and maintain network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management
- Conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios
- Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company
- Implement new processes and fine-tune standard processes for recruiting that fits within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer
- Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process
- Sourcing and Candidate Engagement
- Proactively source passive candidates using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X-ray search/Open web and other sourcing channels for remote sites
- Conduct candidate outreach and engagement to build interest and assess right fit
- Filter the right candidates during recruiter phone screen
Must-Have Skills
- Boolean and Advanced Search
- Create targeted Boolean strings to identify candidates with niche technical skills across LinkedIn, X-ray search/Open web, GitHub, trade forums and specialized job boards
- Candidate Engagement for Passive Talent
- Skilled at requirement gathering, sourcing and screening candidates in specialized technical fields
- Articulate role-based value proposition to the candidate
- Build strategies and brainstorm to create efficient and creative sourcing solutions for stakeholders

Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of corporate or search firm progressive recruiting or research experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of full-time Amazon experience
- Experience with contact management system/applicant tracking system for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates
- Ability to curate market intel for saturated markets
