About the role

The role holder will be a part of Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) team, which is a central sourcing team for WW Amazon Talent Acquisition (ATA) team. We scout bar raising talent spanning across Americas (NA, LATAM), Europe, AMET and India, to enable and scale cost-efficient sourcing solutions in Tech, Non-Tech and High volume space.

Core Responsibilities

  • Recruit passive candidates with the mentality to "profile people and gauge chemistry of candidates for fit and understand their motivation"
  • Build and maintain network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management
  • Conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios
  • Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company
  • Implement new processes and fine-tune standard processes for recruiting that fits within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer
  • Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process
  • Sourcing and Candidate Engagement
    • Proactively source passive candidates using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X-ray search/Open web and other sourcing channels for remote sites
    • Conduct candidate outreach and engagement to build interest and assess right fit
    • Filter the right candidates during recruiter phone screen

Must-Have Skills

  • Boolean and Advanced Search
  • Create targeted Boolean strings to identify candidates with niche technical skills across LinkedIn, X-ray search/Open web, GitHub, trade forums and specialized job boards
  • Candidate Engagement for Passive Talent
    • Skilled at requirement gathering, sourcing and screening candidates in specialized technical fields
    • Articulate role-based value proposition to the candidate
    • Build strategies and brainstorm to create efficient and creative sourcing solutions for stakeholders

Good to Have

  • Market Intelligence: Understand the talent market to source the right talent from targeted organizations
  • Location & Timing
    • Locations: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, and Gurgaon (Remote role)
    • Timing: 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM IST

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of corporate or search firm progressive recruiting or research experience
  • Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of full-time Amazon experience
  • Experience with contact management system/applicant tracking system for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates
  • Ability to curate market intel for saturated markets
